2024: Launch of steel structures production for 1.5 billion rubles
On September 1, 2024, a new plant for the production of metal structures was opened in Shadrinsk, in the construction of which about ₽1,5 billion were invested. The opening ceremony took place on the territory of JSC "ZOK," with the participation of the governor Kurganskaya of region Vadim Shumkov, chairman of the board of directors of the group of companies "SMK" Alexander Shamsutdinov and general director of JSC "ZOK" Alexander Lebedev.
According to the Telegram channel "Kurgan region officially," the launch of a new production complex has become part of a large-scale investment project aimed at significantly expanding the production capacity of the enterprise. As part of the first stage of the program, new workshops for processing, painting and shipping finished products were built. These capacities will increase the output of steel structures, including complex fire and corrosion protection systems.
According to Governor Vadim Shumkov, the opening of new enterprises in the Kurgan region contributes to the economic development of the region and the creation of works.The new plant has already employed 1,200 people, and in the next few years it is planned to additionally create 550 more works.The head of the region noted that the regional government will provide full support in the implementation of further projects at this enterprise.
Alexander Shamsutdinov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SMK Group of Companies, stressed that the opening of a new plant is an important step in implementing a strategy to modernize production and expand the range of products. In September 2024, it is planned to start the second stage of the investment program, which will further strengthen the production capabilities of JSC ZOK.
New production areas were developed and built as soon as possible on the basis of design solutions created directly at this plant. Significant expansion of workshops and modernization of warehouses will allow the plant to increase the production of semi-finished products and improve the logistics of finished products.[1]
