According to the international innovation agency Nesta, investment in parenting technology (ParentTech) is growing 50% faster than other industries (15% versus 10% for the period from 2011 to 2021) and reached $20.8 billion. At the same time, analysts predict that until 2026 the segment will show an increase of another 18%. Despite the high level of commercialization of digital services for parents, the development team from MIPT pursues primarily a social mission, so it made basic functions free, in particular, monitoring the size and duration of the fetus, chat with a virtual assistant with a limited number of messages, part of expert content. The authors of the project plan to provide the rest of the content and full access to the chat to users by subscription.
