2024: Opening of AI clinics

In early September 2024, the startup Neko Health, one of the founders of which is the founder of the audio streaming service Spotify Daniel Ek, announced the opening of several clinics for body scanning using. artificial intelligence The procedure is designed to assess the state of health and identify possible cardiovascular, metabolic and other diseases.

Screening at Neko Health takes place in several stages. First, an employee of a medical institution measures the height, weight and some other parameters of the patient. Then the person is placed in a special cylindrical chamber, which outwardly is a cross between a solarium and a security scanner at the airport. This capsule is equipped with 70 sensors and cameras to form a detailed body model with 50 million data points. The patient is then moved to an observation couch where two more scans are performed. Doctors measure eye and blood pressure, etc. After that, a blood sample is taken for analysis - this is the only invasive test that Neko Health conducts.

AI clinics opened, which scan the whole body in an hour and $400 and detect diseases

The entire scanning procedure lasts about one hour, and its cost is about $400. Included in the session is a face-to-face meeting with a doctor to discuss health conditions and receive recommendations.

Neko Health focuses on risk identification and proactive prevention. The data collected helps in detecting various potential problems that a particular person may face: among them - skin cancer, high blood pressure and metabolic syndrome (a group of conditions that can lead to ailments such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes). If the scan indicates certain deviations, the patient is sent for additional diagnosis and to specialized specialists for further examination.[1]
