Neva Metal (CargoPrime: Control of the container terminal)

In Neva Metal company the WMS system "is implemented by CargoPrime: Control of the container terminal" on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform, entering a line of the logistic products CargoPrime. The Dialog Information Technologies company which developed this software product was engaged in project implementation. The project started in the fall of 2008, in June, 2009 a system was brought into commercial operation.

Within the project operational accounting of the container terminal is completely automated. Using the WMS system acceptance and shipment of containers, automatic formation of a packet of necessary documents, registration of requests for shipment of containers and loads with selection by necessary parameters, inside - and interwarehouse cargo transfers, transactions of a zatarka and rastarka, customs transactions is performed. Maintaining a customer and contractual basis and additional operational reference books is also provided.

As a result of implementation goods turnover of the company when preserving number of operators is increased. Now operation on creation of a subsystem of automatic billing and tariffing of services of the terminal in accordance with the terms of contractual relations of the terminal with clients are conducted.

Also for the purpose of operational providing information to clients the message exchange server in the EDI format (Electronic data interchange is Electronic Data Interchange) according to standards of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe was let into the companies that gave an opportunity to clients without delays to obtain information on a status of the loads in process of their processing.
