2002-2018

According to Interfax, Matyushenko was a member of the board of directors of Murmansk Marine Shipyard OJSC (MSRZ MF) and served as deputy general director for general issues. In 2010, he became the general director of the enterprise. Created in 2002, the MSRZ MF was engaged in the repair of ships of the Murmansk Shipping Company (MMP, declared bankrupt), including nuclear icebreakers, which were previously part of the fleet of the shipping company, fishing, military vessels and ships "Arktikmorneftegazki." In 2012, the MSRZ MF was declared bankrupt, and in 2018 bankruptcy proceedings ended.

2024: Appointment as General Director of Space Center Sea Launch LLC

In early September 2024, it became known that a new general director was appointed to Space Center Sea Launch LLC (a subsidiary of S7 Group). It was the former head of the Murmansk Shipyard of the Navy (MSRZ MF) Petr Matyushenko.

Space Center Sea Launch LLC operates the floating cosmodrome of the same name. The organization was registered in February 2020 in the urban-type settlement Slavyanka in the Primorsky Territory. Taking into account additional capitalization, the authorized capital is 5.843 billion rubles. The founder is CJSC S7 Group of Companies.

In August 2024, the first vice-rector of the Murmansk Arctic University, Maria Knyazeva, announced that the development of ship repair facilities and the creation of an engineering center on the basis of the old ship repair plant of the Navy in Murmansk would be carried out by Space Center Sea Launch LLC. This center will specialize in the development of technologies and products for the ship repair industry. This will allow teachers and students of engineering specialties to practice in the conditions of an existing ship repair enterprise. At the same time, the Murmansk region and the S7 Group at the end of 2023 signed an agreement on cooperation on a project to create a ship repair enterprise in Murmansk[1]
