The new automated warehouses KARDEX SHUTTLE are brought into operation on Smolensk Nuclear Power Station, Rosenergoatom Concern branch of JSC.

Delivery of products KARDEX SYSTEMS AG (Switzerland) is performed for the purpose of accomplishment of "The works on increase in nuclear, technical, radiation safety connected with elimination of the violations revealed in use" and also "Programs of actions for ensuring nuclear, radiation, technical and fire safety at operation of the NPP according to the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation". The Smolensk NPP - one of the leading power enterprises of North-West Region of Russia. Annually in power supply system of the country it issues, on average, 20 billion kW of hours of the electric power that makes 13% of the electric power developed by ten nuclear power plants of the country.

The automated warehouse KARDEX SHUTTLE XP – this automated warehouse system of the 21st century as well as possible is suitable for safe storage of the many thousands range of small and at the same time valuable loads. The convenience of its use consists that it can be placed as on the specially allotted warehouse space, and directly on a production line that considerably reduces arrival time of necessary components and component parts, increasing thereby labor productivity. The automated warehouse equipment KARDEX allows not only to store safely a load and to save the area, but also completely saves from additional expenses on the hoisting-and-transport equipment, increases the processing speed of a load and minimizes number of the employees involved on production.
