BS 11000 is the standard of business cooperation
The BSI British Standards Institute published the BS 11000 standard defining the basic principles of agreements on cooperation, partnership, programs of outsourcing and other types of business cooperation as between business companies, and public institutions. As envisioned by authors of the standard, it should guarantee efficiency of joint work and benefit for all interested persons.
The BS 11000 standard provides eight stages of creation of the management plan the relations of the organizations. According to the methods stated in the standard, the organization will be able to define, how exactly the arrangement will promote achievement of goals of business, to estimate benefit from the introduction at the partnership agreement, it is correct to select the partner for implementation of the purposes, to develop the approach providing mutually beneficial cooperation quantitatively to estimate and maximize benefit from cooperation and, at last, to develop and execute the strategy of an exit of the agreement.
The principles stated in the standard can be adapted to requests of specific business and the sizes of the enterprise, both in private, and in public sector.
