2024: Information on the assembly of Israel's explosive pagers to attack Lebanon

In mid-September 2024, it became known that the pagers used in the explosions in Lebanon were produced by the front company BAC Consulting, based in Budapest. Taiwanese pager company Gold Apollo said it only licensed the company to its brand and was not involved in the production of the devices.

At least nine people were killed and about 3,000 injured when pagers used by members went off simultaneously across Lebanon. Hezbollah Explosives inside the devices were planted by an Israeli spy agency, according to a senior source in the Lebanese security forces. "Mossad" Pagers began arriving in Lebanon in the summer of 2022, but shipments rose after Hezbollah militants began using pagers in February 2024 so they Israel could not track their location by phone number. It is known that BAC Consulting also created standard pagers for ordinary users, but Hezbollah remained the main client of the company, and explosives from the chemical compound pentaerythrittetranitrate were mounted in the batteries of these pagers.

The pictures of the exploded pagers show that their format and stickers on the back correspond to pagers made by the Taiwanese company Gold Apollo. In turn, Gold Apollo reported that it only granted BAC Consulting a license for its brand and did not participate in the production of devices. Taiwan's economy ministry said in a statement that no direct deliveries of pagers from Taiwan to Lebanon were recorded. The CEO of the company said Gold Apollo was the victim of the incident and plans to sue its licensee, who turned out to be a shell company of Israeli intelligence.[1]
