End-to-end system for conducting all types of accounting

"The All-Russian Research Institute of metrological service" completed the project of automation of budget process, accounting, tax accounting and payroll based on the ERP solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8". The project is implemented by 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BITS). Before implementation of an end-to-end automated system personnel records were kept using the 1C: Payroll and Personnel 7.7 program, and accounting – using the 1C: Accounting 7.7 program. Data exchange between these information bases was complicated, data analysis required big labor costs. Budgeting was conducted in spreadsheets that did not allow to obtain quickly necessary information for acceptance of management decisions.

The decision on accounting in uniform information base on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform was made at the end of 2008. In five months of project implementation all data of accounting and tax accounting and also all data on payroll from earlier used programs are transferred to a new ERP system.

In a project deliverable conducting accounting and tax accounting, payroll and budget process is automated. An ERP system covers 50 jobs.

As a result expenses on accounting are twice cut down, the management of institute had an opportunity to quickly obtain information on incomplete works and scientific projects for operational decision-making on them. A system allowed to control an expense according to cost items on each project and to reduce the number of projects in progress by 25%.
