2024: Platform Creation Information

The Minister transport Russia Roman Starovoit in September 2024 announced the development of a single digital platform "Russian Transport," which is designed to simplify and optimize processes in the country's transport industry. The project aims to create a digital ecosystem that will bring together all key aspects of transport infrastructure, including passenger and freight transport. According to the head, Ministry of Transport one of the important components of the platform will be the "Portal of subsidized transportation," thanks to which more than 4 million air tickets have already been sold.

According to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, a single platform will significantly improve interaction between participants in the transport services market. In particular, it will solve the problem of a large number of paper documents used in cargo transportation. By the end of September 2024, more than 300 different types of paper documents are used in this segment, which leads to significant costs and duplication of information. The shift to digital data exchange will speed up processes, reduce costs and make transportation more transparent and efficient.

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation is also developing a national digital transport and logistics platform, which will become a key element of the digital transformation of the industry. It will allow you to analyze and predict logistics routes, which will make it possible to determine the places of cargo generation in advance and choose the optimal ways of their delivery. According to Roman Starovoit, this platform will become an important part of the national project "Effective Transport System," which is aimed at increasing the productivity of the transport network using modern technologies.

In addition, Starovoit noted the success in the development of unmanned technologies in the transport industry. Drones are actively being introduced in various segments, ranging from passenger cars to railway transportation.[1]
