RusHydro will introduce the Russian VK WorkSpace platform into business processes

2024: VK Workspace Implementation Agreement

RusHydro and VK Tech signed a memorandum of cooperation. The parties agreed to introduce the Russian communication platform VK WorkSpace into the business processes of the RusHydro Group. VK announced this on September 27, 2024.

The platform includes corporate mail, messenger, video conferencing system, cloud storage with built-in online document editor. The use of corporate service will allow employees to solve work tasks in a single space, without switching between different applications.

At the first stage, RusHydro and a number of its subsidiaries will transfer more than 20 thousand employees to the cloud version of the VK WorkSpace platform. By the end of 2025, as part of the development of the project, it is planned to bring the total number of service users to 40 thousand.

Within the framework of cooperation with VK Tech, we will introduce proven digital solutions in the market, which, I am sure, will help us in automating personnel document management, developing the cloud infrastructure, and improving the communication environment. For us, it was important to be able to quickly migrate to the Russian platform and scale the project, fault tolerance of the system.
