The construction project was launched in 2021 on the basis of a public-private partnership between the Ministry of Health of the Novosibirsk Region and the K1 investment and construction holding with the support of Gazprombank. The infectious diseases clinic is designed for 504 beds and includes six treatment departments, resuscitation and intensive care units, an X-ray department, diagnostic units, four laboratories, as well as an operating unit with a maternity ward. The hospital is also equipped with a helipad for air ambulance, which will allow patients to be quickly transported from remote areas of the region.

The governor Novosibirsk region Andrey Travnikov noted that this is not a mono hospital for one type of infection, such as, but coronavirus a multidisciplinary clinic. The hospital will be able to simultaneously treat patients with more than twenty different nosologies, which became the reason for the need to develop an individual project, since a standard project for such a multidisciplinary hospital was inappropriate.[1]
