Polywell Computers on October 1, 2024 announced the release of a Slim-UC14L2V4c, an embedded mini media player designed for Digital Signage applications.

Powered by processors Intel the 14th generation Core Ultra, this media player delivers high performance, versatility and durability for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.

Slim-UC14L2V4c is designed to solve the most complex tasks - from digital signage to network security, POS/kiosks and Edge AI applications. With 4 video outputs and 2 HDMI-IN ports, the system can work with multi-screen systems. Equipped with 2 M.2 NVMe 4.0 + 1 NVMe 5.0 SSDs, up to 64 GB of DDR5-4800 MHz SO-DIMM memory and vPro support.

Slim-UC14L2V4c offers 2 LAN ports, 1 M.2 Wi-Fi and 1 4G5G M.2/slot for flexible network configurations. To enhance capabilities, users can use 2 ports 3.2 USB , 6 USB 2.0 ports and 1 USB Type-C port. Intel UHD Graphics support UHD, H.264, and H.265 decoding for smooth video playback and multi-monitor capabilities up to 8K.

The system can also be equipped with an AC power adapter with a built-in UPS battery that provides up to 7 hours of battery life in the event of a power outage and controls the PC shutdown via the Type C interface.
