2024: Construction of a plant for the production of components for prostheses for 1 billion rubles

On October 2, 2024, the administration of the Krasnodar Territory announced that the ORTO-Market company had built a plant in the region for the production of components for prostheses. Investments in the project exceeded 1 billion rubles.

The import-substituting enterprise is located in the village of Smolenskaya Seversky district of the Krasnodar Territory. The production is located on an area of ​ ​ 1.3 thousand square meters. 70 workplaces will appear at the plant. Every year it is planned to produce up to 10 thousand components for lower limb prostheses. The company will supply the necessary products to medical and orthopedic institutions in the region and throughout Russia as a whole.

OOO ORTO-Market was registered in Krasnodar in 2011 with an authorized capital of 10 thousand rubles. The founder and head of the organization is Mikhail Ishkov. The main activity of the company is the production of medical instruments and equipment. In addition, ORTHO-Market can work in other areas, including the production of tools, equipment and devices used for medical purposes.

It is noted that in the Krasnodar Territory for manufacturers of import-substituting industrial products there is a set of support measures. From the regional budget, enterprises can receive up to 300 million rubles of financing, from the Regional Industry Development Fund - up to 200 million rubles of a preferential loan at a rate of 0.1% per annum. In addition, companies can compensate from the regional budget for part of the costs of buying equipment for leasing, as well as the implementation of investment projects to expand production. As of October 2024, more than 10 enterprises operate in the region, which produce medicines, radiopharmaceuticals, dressings, personal protective equipment, materials for surgery.^[1]
