2024: Allocation of 13 billion rubles for the development of the resort

13 billion was allocated for the development of the all-season resort "Armkhi," located in the mountains of Ingushetia. This became known in October 2024. The project is financed jointly by the Russian government and a private investor.

According to TASS, of the total amount of investments, ₽6 billion are private investments, which is a record figure for the republic within the framework of one investment project. The implementation of a large-scale plan for the development of the resort, which started in 2023, will last until the end of 2029.

The allocated funds will be directed to the construction of three chairlift suspended cable cars with a total length of 1.7 km, a training slope with a length of 195 m and a ski track with a length of 7.9 km. In addition, the project provides for the construction of five hotels and a living room.

The head of Ingushetia, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, noted the key advantages of the Armkhi resort, including relatively convenient transport accessibility. The proximity of Vladikavkaz and Magas allows you to count on an increase in the resort's attendance in the evening.

To improve the transport infrastructure, it is planned to expand the existing road from the village of Jairah to the village of Baini, 6 km long. This will provide a convenient access to the cable car stations.

The decision to invest in the Armhi resort and continue the construction of infrastructure was made by Кавказ.РФ JSC, into the management of which a special economic zone was completely transferred. The commission, created by the joint-stock company, took an inventory of the existing infrastructure and determined the list of objects for additional construction.

The resort "Armkhi" is included in the model of economic development of the Republic of Ingushetia. Thanks to this project, the status of "breakthrough" was assigned, which provides it with comprehensive support at the regional and federal levels.

Upon completion of the project, about 300 new jobs are expected to be created, which will contribute to the economic development of the region and increase its tourist attractiveness. Investments in the development of the resort "Armhi" are designed to make it one of the key tourist sites of the North Caucasus.[1]
