Jet Infosystems categorized the critical information infrastructure of Homa Company

2024: Critical Infrastructure Survey

Jet Infosystems carried out a project to survey and categorize infrastructure at Homa Company LLC. The documentation prepared by the specialists of "Jet Infosystems" successfully and on time passed the audit of the regulatory authority. This was reported to Jet Infosystems on October 1, 2024.

Homa Company is a manufacturer of polymer dispersions and adhesive systems that are used in hundreds of industries and are a key link in the production of a variety of products.

The Jet Infosystems team examined all technological processes of Homa Company LLC and formed a list of critical processes, and also consulted with technologists and operating units to form a final list of CII facilities and determine their significance. Then reporting documents were prepared for submission to the FSTEC of Russia.

This created the prerequisites for the effective implementation of the information security strategy and the IT strategy of Homa Company LLC.

Also, the specialists of Jet Infosystems conducted a survey of the current state of ensuring information security of KII facilities of Khoma Company LLC and gave detailed recommendations for bringing them in line with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of KII protection. Homa IT now has detailed instructions on how to improve anti-virus security and network security, organize backup and manage access, investigate incidents and address vulnerabilities, and increase staff awareness of information security issues.

In less than three months, we managed to fully study the business processes of Khoma Company LLC and carry out all the work on categorizing KII, - said Ilya Volozhanin, head of the KII compliance audit group, Jet Infosystems. - A special challenge for our team on this project was the assessment of social and environmental significance for the specific equipment "Homa Company," which is involved in non-typical technological processes.
