DataRu Cloud will place its server infrastructure on the IXcellerate site

Customers: DataRu DataRu

Product: IXcellerate MOS5 Data Center

Project date: 2024/03  - 2024/09

2024: DPC Lease MOS5

DataRu chose data center IXcellerate DataRu as one of the sites for hosting its platform. Cloud The company leased Data center MOS5 seven racks at (South Campus) with a maximum load of 8kW and reserved space for further development. DataRu announced this on October 4, 2024.

The decision to move to an external site was made in connection with the expansion of DataRu's business. Initially, the company was engaged in the development and support of DSS, server and network solutions for high-load DBMS and business-critical applications. But in 2024, the vendor launched several new areas, including cloud services: the DataRu Cloud portfolio includes IaaS, HaaS, PaaS and SaaS products, which are developed taking into account the highest standards of performance, flexibility and security.

The strategy required new approaches to storing equipment and minimizing the risks of its operation. In 2024, the DataRu Cloud team began searching for a commercial data center to accommodate its infrastructure. The choice of a potential partner took place taking into account strict requirements. Due to the active growth of the company, it was extremely important to have a platform with the ability to scale and increase the load on the rack.

DataRu Cloud was looking for a data center with confirmed plans to build, increase energy capacity and number of locations for years to come. Also, the fundamental conditions were the neutrality of the data center to level the risk of competition in the cloud business, the transparent principle of pricing and the projected scale of costs, as well as a high level of connectivity - at least two spaced inputs of fiber optic routes to the data center building and the presence of a large selection of telecom operators at the site.

DataRu Cloud equipment is located in the third stage of the MOS5, which is built using LSV (cold walls) cooling technology. This solution does not require a classic raised floor and provides the ability to operate in low-speed cooling mode, which significantly reduces power consumption and increases the life of the equipment. Maintenance and repair of components is carried out through process ventilation chambers without the need for work in the machine room, which guarantees additional safety and reduced time.

As part of the installation for DataRu Cloud, IXcellerate engineers mounted racks and PDUs, conducted a load test, connected client equipment to monitoring and access control systems, and set up a personal account.

The right data center is not only racks, monitors and wires. These are people who care about the client business as much as they care about their own. Over the years, we have been building a humanocentric service and are very happy when our efforts resonate with new customers who share our principles. In the context of digitalization, growing volumes of data and services, market variability and the geopolitical situation without customer orientation and an open honest approach, it is impossible to build a long-term successful business, "commented Anastasia Neumann, Commercial Director of IXcellerate.
