Born December 29, 1983.

Education

In 2005 she graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia (Department of Insurance).

Career

2005-2013

In March 2013, she was appointed Deputy General Director - Director of Risk Insurance at Sberbank Insurance.

Prior to joining Sberbank Insurance, she was responsible for all issues of cooperation with partners in Cardif Russia, one of Sberbank's partners.

In banking insurance since January 2005, she previously held various positions in operations and product management, and was also responsible for project management in the joint venture "Kardif" with the group "Russian Standard."

2024: Appointment as CEO of Doctor Nearby

In October 2024, Katrin Soomre was appointed the new CEO of "Doctor Nearby" the medical tech company, replacing Viktor Dubrovin in this post. The latter focused on managing the network of clinics "" Niarmedic(part of the Doctor Nearby Group of Companies).

According to the press service of the Doctor Nearby company, Katrin Soomre, as CEO, will be responsible for online and hybrid healthcare projects, including telemedicine service and artificial intelligence-based technology products aimed at insurance businesses, private clinics and the public sector.

Before heading Doctor Nearby, Katrin Soomre worked as deputy general director of risk insurance at Sberbank Insurance.

Catherine Soomre, commenting on her appointment, noted that she was "grateful to the shareholders of Doctor Nearby for their trust."

I am very inspired by the tasks set before me, and I look forward to applying all my experience and knowledge to the development of new effective health management tools, she noted.[1]
