In mid-October 2024, it became known that a compact anti-spyware gadget was on sale, designed to search for hidden surveillance cameras in rented apartments and hotels. A device called the Heyo Series ll Camera Detector BS-HPO24 developed by Baseus.

The novelty is equipped with special transmitters that emit infrared rays along the entire perimeter of the room. To scan, you need to turn off the lighting and activate the antispyware gadget. After that, it is enough to inspect the room through the purple glass built into the keychain. Hidden cameras will look like red dots due to the reflection of IR rays from lens lenses.

Heyo Series Hidden Surveillance Devices

The gadget has three modes for detecting hidden cameras. It is noted that such "bugs" can be integrated into routers, TVs, air conditioners, sockets, all kinds of interior items and even plumbing, such as shower showers. Thanks to the use of Heyo Series ll Camera Detector BS-HPO24 you can quickly examine the room and protect yourself from prying eyes.

The new product provides additional useful functions. In particular, there is a security regime. The device can be hung on the door handle to detect uninvited guests. If someone tries to open the door, the sensors built into the device will detect movements and activate the alarm. Loud sounds can scare the attacker or allow you to attract the attention of other residents/guests of the hotel. In addition, an LED flashlight is integrated into the device. The gadget is powered by a 60- mA·ch battery, which will last for 6 months of standby time and about one hour of active use. To replenish the energy reserve, a USB Type-C port is used. The device weighs 28 grams. The price is about 1,420 rubles (as of mid-October 2024).[1]
