The insurance company SOGAZ-Med uses the tools of the IT company edna to work with digital communication channels and notes the uninterrupted availability of services with large volumes of shipments. For the first half of 2024, 2 million notification emails were sent. This was announced on October 14, 2024 by representatives of the edna company.

SOGAZ-Med is an insurance company in the field of compulsory health insurance. As of October 2024, more than 43 million people in 56 are insured in it Russian regions and in the city of Baikonur. The company plays the role of a liaison between patients and medical organizations: advises on compulsory medical insurance, facilitates appointment with a doctor, accompanies when receiving medical services, provides legal support in pre-trial and judicial proceedings. One of the most important areas in the work of SOGAZ-Med is informing the insured about the upcoming preventive measures: medical examination, medical examination and dispensary observation. Mailings of such notifications are regulated by law and make up 90% of SOGAZ-Med's communication with the insured. The company is obliged to regularly provide reports on the delivery of notifications to the supervisory authorities.

The scale of communication requires reliable and efficient channels from a provider that is able to keep a lot of traffic, solve atypical problems and quickly eliminate incidents.

Among all channels for notifications, the company considers e-mail to be the most informative thanks to its multimedia settings: you can design text in different ways, add images, links, files.

In the first half of 2024, SOGAZ-Med sent 2 million letters with notifications and plans to increase the volume of e-mail communications in the future. The company sends both segmented mailings of USC LLC to several thousand addressees per day, and mass mailings - up to 100,000 per day. Reading e-mail notifications reaches 80% in the first hours after departure.

It is important for customers how the message is perceived visually. They also expect that all details and conditions will be available with one touch. E-mail is suitable for this: letters can be made both attractive and meaningful. Other channels do not fully close these tasks, although they are still used as part of the brands' omnichannel communication strategies.

Recently, SOGAZ-Med began using VK Notify, a messenger for service and transaction notifications on the VKontakte social network. In it, the company sends notifications on the topics of policy support and plans to further expand the scope and topics of information. In the first six months of 2024, SOGAZ-Med sent 3.6 million notifications.

To deliver notifications, the company uses cascading mailings. As a rule, they consist of the following steps: e-mail, Viber, VK, SMS, phone calls. If the insured does not mark another channel as a priority when submitting an application, the company begins the cascade with e-mail, because it sees the largest number of tools in it for the most complete and visual presentation of information.
