K2 Tekh deployed the IT infrastructure for the Energy Certification Center (CES, a subsidiary of the NP Market Council Association) and took a package of its corporate IT services for technical support. The provider completed the work on the project in four weeks, providing the customer with all the digital technologies necessary for the effective organization of the Center's activities. K2 Tekh announced this on October 17, 2024.

The "Energy Certification Center" was created in accordance with the Federal Law "On" and to power industry is responsible for the development of a national low-carbon electricity certification system. The organization conducts the qualification of generation facilities, and also maintains a register of generation attributes and "green" certificates confirming that electricity was produced using renewable or low-carbon energy sources. This allows companies to buy and sell "green" electricity with full transparency and confirmation of its origin. The CES was created in August 2023, and the system of circulation of generation attributes and certificates (register) began to function in February 2024. In order to start the system on time, the CES needed to quickly organize the work of the office, including the deployment of a local network infrastructure and IT a platform for user services.

K2 Cloud specialists deployed in the cloud and took on support for the IT infrastructure (IaaS) and the package of IT services necessary for office work. The solution includes a VPN connection between the cloud and the office, which provides secure remote access for employees to the system, rental of network equipment with service, which guarantees reliable communication with cloud services. For the test environment, Managed Kubernetes ( KaaS) is used, which simplifies the deployment and management of containerized registry applications. In addition, K2 Cloud has outsourced the IT processes of the CES, including IT infrastructure administration and outstaffing of DevOps engineers.

Kirill Boyko, Technical Director of K2 Cloud, noted that one of the main trends in the implementation of IT solutions is complex projects. Due to this, the provider has the ability to optimally configure the operation of all digital systems of the customer.
