City hospital No. 1 of S.Z. Fischer uses an ECM system on the IBM platform

The project of automation of city hospital No. 1 of S.Z. Fischer in. Volzhsky was started in implementation in June, 2008. The pilot division for the first stage of automation selected clinic. During the period from the moment of start of the project till February, 2009 in clinic the local computer network was created, delivery and connection of the server hardware is performed, the system-wide software is set and configured, on jobs of doctors personal computers are set and connected, installation of the software of "The Karelian medical information system" is performed, training of employees is provided, active practical work on use of a system in daily practice of work of clinic is begun.

In City hospital No. 1 of S.Z. Fischer the product "End-to-end Medical Information Systems" (K-MIS) is implemented.

Now a system is most actively used in clinic in antenatal clinic, ophthalmologic, surgical and neurologic departments. In total at the moment 80 Users work with KIIS. From all systems capabilities first of all of steel the following modules will be used: registry, subsystem of planning of working time (calendars), medical electronic document management (electronic out-patient card). The subsystem of diagnostic services, statistics and some other modules are implemented.

It is created and actively the basis for these patients, district doctors and narrow specialists is replenished, employees of registry mastered work with electronic out-patient cards, control of authenticity of these insurance policies and passport data is strengthened, the subsystem of electronic medical document management with functions of a design of calls on the house, accounting of temporary disability, to formation of the electronic directions, maintaining the finished case and surveys of doctors is widely used. Calendars of specialists and offices are actively used.

About the Solution

Workflow automation allows to carry out monitoring of performance indicators of work and excludes a possibility of submission of false data on treatment and prevention facility in Healthcare Committee. The solution allows to provide safe data exchange, to improve interaction between medical specialists in decision making process, increasing labor productivity of employees, quality and effectiveness of rendering medical services.

The management of clinic carries out constant control of quality of conducting entries in out-patient maps with determination of individual coefficients of quality of work of doctors, monitoring of quantity and quality of the issued medical documentation on each workplace is conducted.
