"Cloud" Solvo.WMS manages the Royal Canin finished goods warehouses in Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don

Solvo.WMS allows managers of the warehouses Royal Canin to carry out the strict lot-based accounting of arrivals and shipments and also to trace each load on production lots and expiration dates of products in real time – from the moment of production before shipment to the end consumer (tracebility).

With implementation of Solvo.WMS in regional warehouses the ASN technology (Advance Shipping Notice) of acceptance thanks to which acceptance of loads from the central warehouse is performed much quicker is effectively applied. Solvo.WMS a system obtains necessary information on loads from the main warehouse which go in delivery from the main warehouse, and the user in a regional warehouse can just check correctness of the specified information and make the accelerated acceptance of the arrived loads.

2011: Lobnya, Moscow region

The SOLVO company completed in 2011 the project for Ruscan Ltd (Royal Canin trademark). In the choice of a system specialists from France were directly involved. At assessment of functionality of a system the standard requirements imposed to the systems of the class WMS in the European branches of Royal Canin company were used. Support of SSCC codes (Serial Shipping Container Code) from the moment of production before delivery to the specific consumer as at the level a monopallet, and the national teams a pallet was one of the most important aspects of these requirements. The Solvo.WMS system completely met the imposed requirements.

Within the project the warehouse complex of class "A" in the city of Lobnya, the Moscow region was automated. Different goods are stored in mezzanine warehouse: the products made by RUSCAN Ltd (a dry feed for pets), advertizing products and products for merchandising. Control of expiration dates and consignments of the stored products is made.

In technology process of Ruscan Ltd there are several delivery types which are considered by the Solvo.WMS system: deliveries from production using ASN – acceptance by SSCC codes from production, external deliveries are accepted on normal technology of acceptance with formation of the new SSCC code directly in a warehouse, the deliveries of promotional products accepted on normal technology. At assembly of orders of Solvo.WMS considers different residual expiration dates of the goods intended for branches, clients, etc.

During the project integration with the customer's ERP systems is made. The main ERP system is Navision. All documents for deliveries/shipments form in it. However, for formation of orders and returnable delivery notes for clients of the Moscow branch 1C is used.

The project took four months and was executed according to the "turnkey" scheme - the SOLVO company delivered not only the Solvo system. WMS, but also additional software, all set of the specialized equipment (radio terminals, printers of labels, radio networks, etc.)

2013: Minsky branch

At the end of 2013 the fourth implementation project of the Solvo.WMS system on warehouses of Ruscan Distribution LLC, this time – on a regional distribution warehouse in Minsk (company ChUP "Ruskanbel") on 1311 pallets took place.

Unlike the previous implementation projects of the solution "SOLVO" at which the module "Remote Warehouse" works in the Belarusian branch the separate Solvo.WMS system with the independent server which is successfully integrated with a head 1C system was installed.

One of the main objectives of system implementation of Solvo.WMS is the traceability (traceability) and control of a way of each commodity unit from a warehouse to the end consumer (shop) and also accumulation of statistical data about the actual quality level of a delivered goods.

With implementation of Solvo.WMS in a warehouse the following principles and technologies are used:

• Advanced Shipping Notice allowing to perform acceptance of loads from the central warehouse much quicker.
• Use of the principle of FEFO (First Expired First Out) allowed to reduce influence on warehouse processes of a human factor and to increase quantity of positive reviews of clients on the provided level of service even more.
• Commissioning is applied to increase in efficiency of the equipment in rack storage for orders.
• Routes. As a result of use of this technology of consolidation of orders, time of handling works is considerably reduced and, respectively, capacity of a warehouse increases.

2015: Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don

The SOLVO company completed at the beginning of 2015 two projects of automation of finished goods warehouses in Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don of Ruscan Distribution company (Royal Canin trademark) on already fulfilled cloud technology "A remote warehouse" using which the Solvo.WMS system successfully manages not one year the filial warehouse Royal Canin in Nizhny Novgorod. In regional warehouses the client automated jobs which exchange data with the head Solvo.WMS server, set in the data-center in the Moscow region are established only.

Implementation was carried out as soon as possible - in 2 weeks. And within the first week all warehouse personnel were trained in work with a system, and within the second week work with technical support of "SOLVO" was adjusted.

In a warehouse in Rostov-on-Don upgrade for ensuring the most effective system operation of Solvo.WMS was carried out. After upgrade and expansion of warehouse spaces the technology of commissioning for increase in efficiency of selection of orders, thanks to timely movement of necessary loads from upper tiers of racks in a selection zone was implemented.

In the Solvo.WMS system goods and its quantity without lots then a system plans the order are set, selecting lots for the principle of FEFO (we ship that lot (consignment) at which the expiration date expires earlier). Result of implementation

As a result of system implementation, the efficiency of a warehouse considerably increased: the quantity of errors decreased, selection speed increased, indicators of KPI increased. Once again specialists of "SOLVO" showed the professionalism in high-quality and fast execution of works on Solvo.WMS system implementation.
