PSI Logistics GmbH, subsidiary company of PSI concern, received from Postal service of Switzerland (Schweizerische Post concern) the purchase order of the integrated management system for transport transportations in the field of mail logistics. Standard products – a management system for transportations of PSItms and schedule system of logistic networks PSIglobal will form for implementation of a system base. Project scope, transferred for implementation of PSI company, is several millions.

Thanks to the integrated schedule system of transportations of PSI Logistics company the Postal service of Switzerland has an opportunity of planning and implementation and also operational management of dynamic processes of transportation. At the same time in the center of attention there are an optimization of distribution of transport resources, fall forward of reaction to quickly changing volumes of transportations and more flexible response to fast change of delivery points. Thus, the mail logistics will begin to react even more flexibly and quickly to changes in volumes and contents of transport orders which number can reach up to 52,000 daily.

The PSI Logistics company projects processes of management of orders, transport planning, operational management of transportations, accomplishment of transportations using telematics and completion of transportations on the basis of flexibly configured rules and process descriptions which allow to design and optimize dynamically structures and processes in the field of transportations.

In the competition organized by Postal service of Switzerland within rules of the WTO where selection was made on the basis of the big list of criteria, the PSI Logistics company could win against large-scale international concerns.
