Samarsky Federal State Institution center of standardization, metrology and certifications (THESIS)

Samarsky TsSM Federal State Institution - one of the largest and most developed territorial authorities of Gosstandart of Russia. Activity of the Center is directed to implementation of the state technical policy of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of standardization, metrology, certification and consumer protection.

Main objectives of system implementation for the management of Samarsky TsSM Federal State Institution were process optimization of management and increase in control of performing discipline. Were put forward by key requirements: reliability, functionality, practicality and availability of the solution.

As a result of the careful analysis and testing of the existing systems holding a leading position in the market of electronic document management, a choice was made for benefit of the new THESIS system. This solution completely conforms to all requirements of the customer and provides a number of additional benefits in the form of the minimum implementation time, a flexible license policy and also convenience of work in a system at the expense of friendly and the intuitive interface.

The basic system module of management of documents and tasks the "THESIS" allowing to automate process of setting and control of accomplishment of tasks was unrolled in Samarsky TsSM Federal State Institution by developer company "Haulmont Samara" at the beginning of March, 2010. The project on implementation including user training and the system administrator and also trial operation, it was complete on March 29, 2010.

The THESIS system was for Samarsky TsSM Federal State Institution the convenient tool for achievement of the set managerial objects. At the initial stage a system is actively applied to setting and control of accomplishment of the tasks defined at weekly planned meetings.

"At meetings a number of tasks which define activity of Samarskogo TsSM Federal State Institution for a short-term outlook is set. Earlier, to system implementation, these tasks were fixed by special employees and were brought to the attention of contractors in the manual mode. We had no opportunity to control accomplishment of these tasks and to receive a feedback on them. We could receive information on execution or not execution of instructions only to the next meeting. Now tasks are set directly in our system, and we in real time can control their accomplishment", - the head of department of an ACS of Samarsky TsSM Federal State Institution Konstantin Anatolyevich Kudrin shares the first impressions of operation of a system.

"In future Samarsky TsSM Federal State Institution "THESIS" for management of all tasks of the organization, with the subsequent connection of the existing branches and structural divisions is going to use systems capabilities. Also we want to automate processes of approval of documents, is greatest possible having reduced paper document flow" - the chief metrologist of Samarsky TsSM Federal State Institution Valery Aleksandrovich Yakunin sums up.
