2024: Myrrolla bought Pharma Capital
The company Myrrolla"," which is one of the five largest manufacturers of biologically active additives, in Russia October 2024 acquired Pharma Capital LLC, the owner of a pharmaceutical plant in the Konnaya Lakhta industrial park in. St. Petersburg
According to RBC, the deal amounted to ₽1,8 billion. The production and warehouse complex includes premises with a total area of 20.4 thousand square meters and a land plot of 2.3 hectares. The capacity of the enterprise allows the production of up to 1.2 billion tablets annually.
MirrollaPreviously, the plant belonged to the Rosta group - one of the leading pharmaceutical distributors in Russia and the former owner of the Rainbow, First Aid and Ladushka pharmacy chain. After the bankruptcy of the group in February 2019 with a debt of ₽25 billion, the asset came under the control of Sberbank structures.
Mirrolla plans to continue pharmaceutical production in accordance with international GMP standards. The company is equipped with a valid license for the production of tablets and capsules, and also fulfills contract orders.
According to Nikolai Bespalov, Development Director of RNC Pharma, several years ago this asset was not of value to pharmaceutical manufacturers due to the need for significant investments in modernization. However, the former general director of Pharma Capital, Ivan Glushkov, notes that with an investment of about ₽2 billion, the construction of a similar site from scratch would take from three to five years.
Mirrolla is one of the leading Russian manufacturers of dietary supplements with a market share of 5.7%. The company specializes in the production of vitamins, cosmetic products and snoring products.
The owners of Mirrolla in equal shares are Gevork Hakobjanyan and Hayk Arakelyan, who also own Kok Roche Farm, a company specializing in the wholesale trade in pharmaceutical products, and Berlin Stoma, which manages a network of dental clinics in St. Petersburg.[1]
