On October 29, 2024, Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Star communication system. It allows you to make two-way calls even without connecting to Wi-Fi, cellular or satellite communications.
The new technology is based on the Xiaomi Surge T1S chip. It uses four low-frequency, as well as six medium-frequency and high-frequency antenna groups, switching between which is carried out using special algorithms based on artificial intelligence. It is claimed that the communication range reaches 3.5 km. In this case, signals can penetrate through seven floors of buildings.
