2024: Implementation of the Process Management System

The company "Arsi BiAi" (part of the I-Teco Group of Companies) has completed large-scale projects for the implementation of a production process management system (MES, manufacturing execution system) based on the domestic software "Highway" in "Polyus." I-Teco announced this on October 31, 2024.

The introduction of a full-scale digital model of material flows for all alterations from the mining transport complex to the gold recovery plant made it possible to achieve a high level of automation, reliability and efficiency of obtaining information for effective production management. At the same time, individual solutions were developed taking into account the specifics of the gold mining industry.

The projects were implemented at two key production sites - Polyus Verninsky and Polyus Sukhoy Log, located in the Bodaibo district of the Irkutsk region. The work included: the introduction of the MES system to optimize the processes of storing and accumulating production data, for dispatching production based on the Mainline software at Polyus Verninsky, and the development and implementation of the production management system at Polyus Sukhoy Log.

In the face of growing demand for gold and the need to improve the efficiency of its production, automation of production processes becomes a key factor in success. The introduction of a solution based on the domestic software "Highway" is an important step in the digital transformation of our company. We received an import-independent tool that allowed us to improve the accuracy of accounting and forecasting, to ensure the accumulation of a large amount of data on the operation of production to improve its operational efficiency, noted Denis Erofeev, Director of the Polyus Business Process Development Department.

The developed set of application solutions was built into the complex IT landscape of Polyus with ensuring the continuity of business processes at all stages of implementation, which guaranteed high reliability and stability of work, despite a significantly increased volume of production data processing procedures and interaction interfaces, and made it possible to ensure the SLA level of at least 98%.

As part of the automation of end-to-end processes, interaction with the ERP system, laboratory research management system, and mining and geological system was ensured.

The implementation of a project of this scale demonstrated the maturity of domestic IT solutions and their readiness to compete with the best global counterparts in difficult production conditions.
