Iomega Personal Cloud

Personal Cloud is the solution for the maximum data protection and remote access focused on small business and consumer market which allows to control the "personal cloud". It is the architecture based on web technologies connecting the network attached storage to other users and/or devices by means of Internet communications.

The Iomega Personal Cloud technology will be available around the world, since this month, with release of the new one-disk storage module Iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive Cloud Edition. "A personal cloud" it is possible to turn on up to 250 devices in the, having offered opportunities copying and file sharing directly between computers as though they entered one local network. Users receive the e-mail message with the link and the code of authorization according to which Iomega Storage Manager automatically is established, and on the computer the letter is appropriated to a new general disk. To get access to Personal Cloud, it is necessary just to click on a drive letter.

The new Home Media Network Hard Drive Cloud Edition system with one disk with a capacity of 1 or 2 Tbytes, will go on sale in Russia in March, 2011 of a goal. The model with a disk with a capacity of 1 Tbyte costs 170 dollars, and with a disk with a capacity of 2 Tbytes - 230 dollars.
