Rostelecom and the government of the Republic of Tyva signed the bilateral agreement about cooperation within creation of a regional segment of "the electronic government". The agreement was signed the vice president – the director of the Siberian branch of Rostelecom Roman Kravtsov and the head of the Republic of Tyva, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tyva Sholban Cara-ool.
"The main goal of creation "of the electronic government" - to facilitate life of people, to minimize a subjective factor in receiving public services by the citizen. It is absolutely other level of the relations between officials and society since it considerably reduces time of receiving services, transportation costs, - the prime minister Sholban Cara-ool emphasized. - Implement the project in Tuva not easy due to the lack of the developed communications infrastructure. The same fiber-optic networks are only in the capital of Tuva so far. And the main problems of people are solved at the level of municipalities. Means, it is necessary to provide access to the high-speed Internet on all republic. Let's gradually solve this problem".
As Kravtsov Roman reported, "creation of a modern communications infrastructure in the region will be performed along with connection of authorities of all levels to it. For this purpose the government of Tyva and Rostelecom will create the permanent working group which main objectives will be a preparation and implementation of the corresponding actions plan". According to him, "already in the nearest future Rostelecom and the government of the republic, will start creation in Tyva of infrastructure of "the electronic government" and to transfer of services of public authorities and local government to an electronic form based on the regional solution developed by Rostelecom.
