Sergey Sobyanin continues to fight against traffic jams

The mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin at a meeting of the city government announced that creation of an end-to-end system of management of traffic in Moscow will come to the end till 2013. It will allow to consider a real transport situation in Moscow at construction of housing and shopping centers and also to avoid its deterioration. The innovation will help to coordinate work of road services and services of the emergency reaction.
Sobyanin expressed the need to create an intelligent system of management of car traffic in Moscow in October, 2010. According to him, a system will allow to improve a transport situation in Moscow, including - to reduce quantity of stoppers.
Within creation of an intelligent system it is going to transfer control of traffic lights and traffic flow Start to the Center of the organization of traffic. Information on a road situation in the different districts of Moscow from GLONASS/GPS navigators which at the first stage are going to be installed on public transport, machines of municipal services and cars of abnormal services will arrive here. The dispatching center will analyze data retrieveds and to arrange operation of traffic lights under a road situation or to change the movement on reverse sections of routes.
According to unofficial information, creation of the transport system will cost to the Moscow budget ten billion rubles.
