New opportunities of the analysis in Maple T.A. 7 turn on tools which allow teachers to browse all answers to the same question, to trace the sequence of actions during answers and to analyze extent of preparation according to the set scheme of gradation of level of knowledge.
Maple T.A. 7 also contains new palettes which allow students and teachers to enter integrals, derivatives and matrixes in a natural mathematical notation that simplifies understanding of questions and answers.
The testing tool of mathematical knowledge (Placement Test Suite) developed by Mathematical Association of America (MAA) is based on the tool of Maplesoft company – Maple T.A. 7, so all opportunities of the analysis included in the latest version of Maple T.A. 7, are also available to users of Placement Test Suite 7. In particular, for those who develop test problems Maple T.A. offers new statistical estimates which can be used for determination of correlation between the correct answers to single questions and success in passing of all test.
