DPC Voronezh region

Within implementation of regional innovation policy the Government of the Voronezh region creates in the region an important innovation infrastructure facility - a data processing center - the DATA center. Construction of DPC will be performed within implementation of the regional target program "Development of the Innovation Activity in the Voronezh Region for 2011-2015". Preparatory work was begun at the end of 2010, in particular, the open competition on accomplishment of research and design works regarding development of documentation for creation of a regional data processing center was held.

Creation of the DATA center supervises Department of the industry, transport, communication and innovations of the Voronezh region together with public institution "Agency on innovations and development".

The data processing center will correspond world the standard of m of storage and data processing with branched network infrastructure. The DATA center is designed to provide the growing requirements of public authorities and large IT companies as already at a stage design to an object are shown high the requirement to reliability of functioning of the equipment, data protection and capacity of Internet channels.

According to the director "The agencies on innovations and to development" Vladimir Loginov for construction of the innovation Data center are going to be attracted, including, and extrabudgetary funds. Private investors are interested in creation of DPC in the territory of the Voronezh region as joint construction of an infrastructure facility will allow to lower considerably costs for all participants of process. On the project the data processing center will carry out tasks not only the state, but also private companies.

The regional government in a data processing center the sist to it assumes to place uniform regional information Electronic Black Earth, a processing center on service of universal electronic cards, management systems for document flow, computing systems for a video conferencing, electronic storages of databases and another.

To the DPCs private companies will allow optimum to decide a big number of business challenges to increase the level of technical and information security of the work and also to reduce costs for use of IT infrastructure for the account of consolidation of computing resources and means of data storage in the DATA center.

As Vladimir Loginov notes, the data processing center as a hi-tech innovation object will make a huge contribution to development of the region as will allow private companies (to providers, content providers, service providers, aggregators, a hosting centers, etc.) actively to develop and master the Internet space demanded presently. In addition, creation of the DATA center many times will reduce the price of availability of Internet resources to the consumer – they will not need to be taken from remote capital servers and the more so foreign platforms any more. Especially it is important for the developing regional small and medium business. All necessary capacities will be in the region, and it as emphasize in "The agency on innovations and development" it is commercially very profitable to the Voronezh region. The region needs the innovation DPCs as demand for technological solutions and Internet service grows at the advancing rates and the companies providers do not manage to cover it. It is very important to move traffic to the region. The local companies will gain independence of remote hosters and cost reduction on IT services.

The Voronezh region will become one of the first in the Central Black Earth who will provide citizens, the power and business with reliable and effective regional IT infrastructure.
