Rudas will use an EAM system for management of works on a MRO of courts

The AND Project company (file) began the project on creation of a management system and service of fixed assets based on the iMaint EAM system in port division of the Rudas company representing a complex of the enterprises for production, transportation, processing and shipment of sand for construction works.

The port division of the company is equipped with cargo moorings, ship-repair workshops, floating dock. The fleet of the enterprise contains more than 45 units of the ship equipment.

The company calculates that creation of a single system of management of fixed assets will allow the enterprise to improve schedule system and accounting of all work types on maintenance and ship repairs. As a result the enterprise will be able to increase control of the movement of spare parts, materials and fuel and lubricants; improve quality of planning and cost control on maintenance and repairs; manage allocation of costs on maintenance and repair on courts, workshops and contractors.

Automation will affect work of estimate department and department of regulation of work. During the project efficiency evaluation of activity of the departments responsible for carrying out a MRO will be carried out, processes of creation and the movement of repair sheets in courts are systematized.

Within the project the special solution for ensuring work of captains and mechanics of courts in an EAM system without direct connection with servers in port will be developed. For this purpose creation of local databases in courts for work in the conditions of lack of communication and also tools for synchronization of the performed operations on ship repairs with the central server will be required.
