2024: Product Announcement

At the end of November 2024, Mechanical Revolution announced the Code AI laptop, designed specifically for programmers. The laptop includes an artificial intelligence assistant designed to automatically write code.

Mechanical Revolution

The novelty is built on the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor of the 155H generation Meteor Lake. The chip contains 16 computing cores, including 6 productive ones. The maximum clock speed is 4.8 GHz in turbo mode. Up to 22 instruction streams can be executed simultaneously. The product includes an Intel Arc Graphics accelerator with a frequency of up to 2.25 GHz. In addition, the Intel AI Boost NPU neuromodule is provided to speed up operations related to artificial intelligence. The processor operates in tandem with 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD (additionally, you can install a M.2 SSD with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface).

Mechanical Revolution

The CodeGeeX Nano AI assistant is installed on the laptop, which is able to generate and supplement program code, add comments and perform other tasks. Moreover, this assistant does not require a connection to the cloud - all computing tasks are performed locally. Thus, CodeGeeX Nano can be used even without an Internet connection.

Mechanical Revolution

The laptop is equipped with a 15.3-inch screen. The cover can be opened 180 degrees, which will be convenient if several people are working on the project at the same time. The device received a full-size keyboard with a block of digital buttons on the right side. Power is provided by a 99 Vt·ch battery. The price of the Code AI laptop has not been disclosed as of the end of November 2024.^[1]
