2024: Waterproof monitor with color touchscreen display
NIPK "Electron" on November 20, 2024 announced the modernization of one of the most popular tent X-ray diagnostics devices - the lightweight APR-Maxim. The updates take into account the needs of medical practitioners and are designed to improve the efficiency and convenience of their work.
The upgraded model received a waterproof monitor with a color touchscreen display and a built-in battery. A widescreen display with a diagonal of at least 17 inches allows you to instantly assess the quality of the radiograph and, if necessary, adjust the exposure parameters. Thanks to the protective coating, the display can be treated with disinfectant solutions without harm to the device.
APR-Maxima is capable of working both from the network and from the battery, including for performing exposures. Autonomous mode is most relevant when using the device in intensive care units and operating rooms loaded with equipment, which complicates access to the network.
The presence of a digital ward apparatus, especially a lightweight design, is a great happiness for a multidisciplinary emergency hospital, like the city Mariinsky Hospital. They must be in each resuscitation unit, in the dynamic observation chambers, in the shock chamber, in the operating unit. For effective and timely diagnosis of urgent patients, there should be about 10 such installations. It is very convenient to use mobile small-sized devices in resuscitation conditions. On the monitor, you immediately receive an X-ray image of the examined organ, you see the pathology and you can quickly show it to the attending physician. In a limited space of the intensive care unit, the possibility of autonomous operation of a mobile device helps, when there is no need to waste time connecting it to the electrical network, but you can immediately start radiography. The built-in image processing program helps a lot, which automatically optimizes the picture. This is extremely important for high-quality emergency X-ray diagnosis of severe patients - said Irina Kamyshanskaya, doctor of medical sciences, radiologist. |
The weight of the updated device remained the same, it does not exceed 80 kg. Compact size and maneuverability allow you to easily move it even to a rather fragile woman. APR-Maxima is equipped with a wide range of organoautomatics programs, including for pediatrics, with the ability to manually adjust. The remote exposure control significantly reduces the radiation load on the X-ray absorber during research.
According to the manufacturer, the quality of imaging in APR-Maxim is not inferior to stationary X-ray devices, while the dose load on the patient and staff is minimal.
The modernized model has passed all the necessary tests and has already been put into mass production.
