2024: Introducing a solution for managing the city's district heating system

Zyfra has developed a solution for managing the city's district heating system. The first comprehensive implementation project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The solution consists of a set of industry-specific application services for centralized control of the technological process, parameters of heat supply to consumers, equipment conditions, qualitative and quantitative assessment of the efficiency of heat supply processes and the formation of dispatch reports. The developer announced this on November 28, 2024.

The project team developed a digital tool with a unified object-oriented interface for centralized monitoring and control of quality parameters and reliability of heat supply in real time. A large amount of data from various sources is reduced into a single information environment, which allows the dispatcher to quickly respond to any deviations in heat supply parameters, eliminate the causes of problems and, in general, significantly increase the efficiency of heat supply to consumers. In the first implementation project, the solution integrates information from 5 city CHPPs, as well as from more than 20 related systems. In total, data is collected from 150,000 sensors.

Thanks to this solution, the dispatching service of the heat supply company received a transparent and simple mechanism for managing the urban heat supply infrastructure. All data received from the equipment is reproduced on the map with the possibility of layer-by-layer display of different modes and situations. Dispatchers in real time can monitor the state of facilities, processes, equipment and vehicles according to the specified criteria, calculate excess coolant losses, and promptly receive information about emerging deviations of actual values from the standard and specified ones. It is possible to carry out comparative analysis of the dynamics of parameters for current and past periods. The implementation of this solution will contribute to improving the efficiency, quality and reliability of heat supply to consumers.

The main effects expected during the operation of the solution at the first stage are associated with minimizing heat losses, reducing electricity consumption to maintain the hydraulic regime and reducing the cost of feeding the heating network. The solution will also ensure the stability of the quality and reliability of the supplied services, as well as minimize violations associated, among other things, with the parameters of the coolant temperature during the heating season.

The development is a specialized industry application based on the ZIIoT production management platform from the Digital Group Zyfra.

{{quote "Based on the ZIIoT platform," Digit "develops application solutions for various industries industries. A feature of these projects is the organization of end-to-end integration with the transition from automation of individual areas business processes and to centralized management of the enterprise, geographically distributed facilities and urban infrastructure. This makes it possible to identify bottlenecks and optimize production processes, reducing costs throughout the production chain. The developed solution allows you to consolidate information about urban heat supply in the "one window" mode, significantly reducing dependence on the human factor. We expect that the speed of information receipt by dispatchers will increase by 20%, the speed of the dispatcher's response to the problem will have to increase by the same amount. In Russia, there are about 20 heating networks that will be interested in such a digital heat supply management tool and will be able to get significant benefits from it, "said Mikhail Aronson, head of the Zyfra Group of Companies. }}
