2024: Creating an amphitheater multimedia space

INTACT participated in organizing the multimedia space of the amphitheater of the Moscow school "New Look." The introduction of a complex of multimedia systems made it possible to create a modern information and communication environment for school students indoors. Intact announced this on November 28, 2024.

The main goal of creating a multimedia complex for the school was to provide visual support for lessons and actively involve students in extracurricular activities.

The design work included the development of design documentation, the selection and supply of equipment, commissioning and commissioning. In the process of implementing the project, it was necessary to take into account the geometry of the space and the design of the school so that all multimedia equipment fits succinctly and the ergonomics of the space are preserved.

The technological base of the project was multimedia solutions from leading manufacturers. To ensure high quality of display and readability of information from any point of the amphitheater, a projection screen with an electric drive measuring 700x394 cm and an aspect ratio of 16:9 is used. To display content on the screen, a multimedia projector with a laser light source and a luminosity of 22,000 ANSI lumens is used. LCD panels located on mobile racks with a 65-inch screen diagonal and a resolution of 3840 x 2160 cm are used as duplicate display means. The stationary sound amplification subsystem is designed in such a way as to provide the ability to amplify the speech of speakers, control the audio path and mixing. Acoustic subsystems of stationary sound reinforcement equipment consist of two clusters: passive linear arrays and subwoofers located on the sides of the stage. Acoustic modeling of the amphitheater was carried out to accurately position the acoustic systems. The video conferencing subsystem (VKS) is implemented on the basis of rotary cameras and a workstation of the VKS operator. The project also provides for the possibility of voicing events outside the amphitheater using a remote set of acoustic equipment.

In accordance with the state program "Accessible Environment," the project meets all the requirements for creating an inclusive educational environment. An induction loop is installed in the amphitheater, which provides high-quality transmission of an audio signal from the microphone to cochlear implants and hearing aids of hearing impaired people.

To synchronize the management of a complex of multimedia equipment represented by different manufacturers, a system was introduced that allows for a high level of response and wide use of control ports, customizable to the individual requirements of the operating personnel. The control system provides full control of the AV system, including all sources and displays, the projection screen, the installation projector and the sound amplification system. The main control tool is a touch-sensitive wireless tablet, and the ability to control via the graphical interface of a personal computer is also implemented.

In addition to acoustic equipment, the multimedia space provides a stage lighting system that allows you to make light accents and gives additional expressiveness using colors and texture.

The amphitheater in our school acts as a center for active public life, where meetings, conferences, lectures, meetings and concert performances are held. Thanks to the implementation of the multimedia space project together with INTACT, we successfully resolved the issue of both visual support of the educational process and the organization of celebrations.
