2024: TEA VC bought Birzzha

On December 2, 2024, it became known that the TEA VC fund (Telegram Entrepreneurs Accelerators) entered into a deal to acquire the Russian exchange of Birzzha Telegram channels. The cost of the purchased startup is "up to 3 million rubles," other details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Birzzha project was founded in 2018 by Evgeny Drozdov and Alex Dalakyan from Zzapusk. Birzzha is a digital platform for sellers and buyers of Telegram channels, bots and services. The guarantor's fee is 4% of the asset's price. It is noted that with the help of the exchange, one of the largest transactions for the sale of the channel in Telegram was carried out: we are talking about the Finder project, the declared value of which was 35 million rubles.

Birzzha offers services to select a channel suitable for the criteria in a short time. Consultations are available with the guarantor Birzzha, who will answer all questions of interest and give certain recommendations on the purchase/sale of the channel. In addition, a detailed analysis of the channel can be carried out, according to the following points:

• Check for cheating views and subscribers;
• Check for publication of dubious and "killing" loyalty ads;
• Checking real advertising sales figures for the last month;
• Verification of real indicators for the purchase of advertising over the past month;
• Checking all promotional materials that were used in the promotion for clickbait and false call;
• Check for topic change;
• Information on how long the channel has been sold;
• Analytics of opportunities for scaling channel activity;
• Arguments for/against the purchase;
• The conclusions and opinion of the Zzapusk team on the advisability of the purchase;
• Reasoned calculation of the real price per channel.

The TEA VC Fund of Alexei Shabarshin and Maria Aksenova on the basis of the Birzzha site plans to develop solutions for finding, evaluating, selecting and making decisions on the purchase/sale of Telegram channels and service bots.^[1]
