2024: Appearance of crypto exchanges in grocery stores

In early December 2024, it became known that automated crypto exchanges began to appear in Moscow grocery stores. We are talking about special terminals of the company RusBit for the exchange of money for cryptocurrency and vice versa.

RusBit cryptomats look like traditional ATMs. Users can exchange cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. It is argued that the decisions comply with Federal Law No. 259 "On Digital Financial Assets, Digital Currency and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation" dated July 31, 2020.

Crypto exchanges in grocery stores began to appear in Moscow

In April 2024, RusBit introduced its multi-currency platform that supports various cryptocurrency pairs. It is possible to carry out transactions for the purchase and sale with the issuance of cash. The choice of local fiat currency is allowed, which will be useful for owners of cryptomats from other countries.

The RusBit website says the terminals are delivered on a turnkey model. Components are purchased in Canada, Italy and South Korea, and assembly is carried out in Russia. Any software can be developed for the customer's tasks: the applied technology stack - C#, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, UWP, Yii2, React, RabbitMQ. There is a 24-hour hotline of 8-800, whose specialists can answer all questions of interest. All cryptomats are preinstalled with remote access programs. Customers are given the opportunity to personalize the appearance of the device.
