2024:95% company consolidation
Andijan Moiseev consolidated 95% of Emji Rusland LLC, which owns the Kuppersberg household appliance brand, in December 2024. The increase in the share occurred after the acquisition of a 50% stake from the co-founder of the company Zaza Gorgidzhanov.
According to Kommersant, Kuppersberg CEO Dmitry Shashkin confirmed the transaction, retaining 5% in the organization. Zaza Gorgidzhanov planned to withdraw from capital at the beginning of 2024, when the possibility of selling the share to the distributor Merlion was discussed.
The company LLC "Em-ji rusland" was registered in September 2010 in Khimki. At the end of 2023, the organization's revenues amounted to ₽8,2 billion with a net profit of ₽236 million. According to TelecomDaily, the Kuppersberg brand took a leading position in online dishwasher sales in January-February 2024, ahead of Bosch and Gorenje.
According to Marvel Distribution, from January to October 2024, 950 thousand dishwashers were sold in Russia for a total of ₽32,1 billion. In the segment of ovens sold 1.75 million devices for ₽50 billion, cooking panels - 1.5 million units for ₽27,4 billion.
Anton Guskov, a representative of the Association of Trading Companies and Producers of Electric Household and Computer Equipment RATEK, noted that after the departure of foreign manufacturers from the Russian market of household appliances, shares are redistributed between its participants, including domestic companies.
Zaza Gorgidzhanov will continue to work in the industry through his own company LLC Kuppersberg-Import, which will be engaged in retail stores under the Kuppersberg brand in 2025, purchasing goods from LLC Em-ji rusland. According to experts, at the time of discussing the deal with Merlion in April 2024, the cost of the entire LLC "Emji Rusland" was estimated at ₽5 billion.[1]
