2024: Introduction of a prototype web application for modeling the well flooding process
Sakhalin scientists have developed a prototype web application for modeling the well flooding process. This was announced by the Advanced Engineering School of SakhSU on December 9, 2024.
This development will allow companies to automate a number of business processes and achieve cost reduction and increase oil production efficiency.
By analyzing production and injection well data, the application allows you to create a detailed map of cells according to the specified parameters and also suggest steps to optimize well performance.
The functionality of the application includes the following capabilities:
- Automatic mapping of field cells depending on production data;
- Automatic calculation of well participation factors in the cell.
The service also offers optimal actions for setting well operating modes based on data analysis Previously, some of these calculations were performed manually. This application closes part of this process - it allows you to build a well map according to the specified parameters and calculate the parameters of well operation (injectivity and compensation, etc.). It is important that this approach will allow in the future to automate the selection of participation factors, including based on artificial intelligence methods.
This development was recorded in the register of programs of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property as a result of the intellectual activity of SakhSU.
