2024: Robot Announcement

Novosibirsk developers have created an unmanned platform "Venom-totem" for the evacuation of wounded with a carrying capacity of up to 300 kg in December 2024. The first batch of 50 robotic platforms is preparing to be handed over to Russian troops for tasks as part of a military operation.

According to TASS, the Venom-totem platform was originally developed to evacuate victims from emergency zones. During stress tests, the device demonstrated the ability to carry goods weighing up to 500 kg, which significantly exceeds the declared characteristics.

The remotely controlled platform is designed to evacuate the wounded from the combat contact line, who cannot independently leave the danger zone. The operator controls the robot at a safe distance, which minimizes risks to personnel during rescue operations.

The developers are working on an improved version of the platform with an automatic loading function. The new modification will be able to independently evacuate without direct human participation in the loading process.

The Venom Totem platform has universal capabilities and can be used to deliver ammunition and provisions to hard-to-reach areas. The representative of the Kulibin Club stressed that the organization provides comprehensive support to inventors in scaling production and testing at the landfill.

The Kulibin Club of the Popular Front performs an important function in selecting, testing and supporting serial production of the best domestic developments. Thanks to this initiative, thousands of innovative electronic warfare tools have already been put on the front line to counter enemy drones.[1]
