2024: Completion of construction
In Arsenyev, the construction of the first high-speed cable car chairlift at the new ski resort is being completed, the cost of which is ₽9,3 billion. This was announced on December 13, 2024 by representatives of the Primorye SportHotelInvest investor company.
According to the government of the Primorsky Territory, the six-seater cable car manufactured by the Chinese company BMHRI has a length of 1.5 thousand meters and a speed of up to six meters per second, which will allow you to climb to the top of the slope in less than six minutes.
Pavel Ionov, deputy general director of the investor company, said that test operation of the first cable car will begin at the end of January 2025 after the completion of commissioning work. The main task of testing is to train personnel to work with new equipment, which has no analogues in Primorye.
The installation of the equipment is carried out by Russpecining, which has experience in the construction of such facilities in the resorts of Krasnaya Polyana in Sochi. All supports of the first cable car-chair road are installed at the resort, upper and lower stations with an operator module are installed and hangars for storing seats are being installed.
On the second cable car, technical approval of the state examination was obtained, supports were installed and the foundation for the station, control room and garage was poured. In parallel, ski slopes are being arranged with a total length of 12 kilometers.
The project also includes the construction of a water and recreation complex with indoor and outdoor pools, hotels with 250 rooms, an apartment complex, a service and tourist center, restaurants, terraces and car parks. All work is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
Deputy Prime Minister of Primorye Nikolai Stetsko called Arsenyev the largest social project in the region. The project is being implemented by decision of the Presidium of the Government Commission for Regional Development, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government Russia Marat Khusnullin and with the support Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East of Russia in the form of a presidential subsidy.[1]
