2024: Transition to "1C: KOP Salary and Personnel Management "

First Bit helped Tomsk Mills, one of the flour producers in Russia, transfer payroll and personnel accounting from the 1C: Management of a Flour and Cereal Enterprise (1S:UMKP) system to 1C: Payroll and HR Management of KORP (1C: Payroll and HR Management). This was announced by "First Bit" on December 12, 2024.

This step made it possible not only to significantly simplify processes, but also to reduce system maintenance costs by 80%. Tomsk Mills has been using 1S:UMKP since 2017. However, in 2026, official support for this system and other 1S:UPP-based solutions is expected to end. The approach of this date, as well as problems with updates to regulated reporting and the risks of fines for late submission of reports, were the main reasons that prompted the company's management to find a more modern solution.

Representatives of Tomsk Mills addressed this task to the Tomsk office of the First Bit IT integrator. After the survey, the First Bit team proposed to transfer personnel accounting and payroll to 1S:ZUP, which would minimize risks and optimize business processes.

An attempt to transfer data directly from 1S:UMKP to 1S:ZUP failed. Improvements in the 1S:UMKP did not allow to unload the necessary data in full. At the same time, the forms in the 1S:ZUP were radically different from the forms of the 1S:UMKP, and did not fit into the standard logic of the program. After that, we decided to restart the project, creating a new model of work in the 1S:ZUP from scratch, "said Alexander Zgolich, head of the project department of First Bit in Tomsk.

You have created an empty 1S:ZUP base to which you have added employees with different positions. You have set up a system that takes into account customer-specific requirements and tested all business processes. After a successful system health check, the data was transferred to the work base.

One of the key aspects of the project was the preservation of the possibility of payments to unauthorized individuals. Specialists of the First Bit successfully implemented this functionality in a typical solution 1S:ZUP KORP, which allowed Tomsk Mills to continue the tradition of supporting former employees and labor veterans, "said Irina Pavlovna Zenkevich, chief accountant of Tomsk Mills.

The professional work of the First Bit team allowed to preserve existing processes and make them more efficient. Integration between 1S:UMKP and 1S:ZUP ensured the correct formation of financial statements based on current data.

So, for the work of the CFO, a special report was implemented that makes it possible to easily assess the financial requirements for the payment of wages taking into account the time sheet, increasing and decreasing coefficients.

Thanks to the transfer of personnel functions and payroll to a dedicated solution, the receipt of regulated reporting, in terms of personnel accounting, was accelerated by 100%, and management - by 50%. The labor costs of employees for calculation and accrual of wages decreased by 10%.
