VAS Experts optimizes telecom operator network traffic in Venezuela

2024: Implementation of DPI SCAT

VAS Experts has implemented a multifunctional SCAT DPI platform in the network infrastructure of a large telecom operator in VenezuelaCable Norte. The decision became necessary for the company due to the growing demand of local residents and enterprises for high-speed Internet. VAS Experts announced this on December 12, 2024.

Several key modules were implemented for the Cable Norte infrastructure: BRAS/BNG (Broadband Network Gateway); CG-NAT (Carrier-Grade Network Address Translation); QoE (Quality of Experience). The implementation of DPI SCAT included thorough training of technical personnel and close cooperation with VAS Experts engineers to ensure a smooth transition. After installation, the team tested the solution on real traffic to confirm its performance. 

The DPI SCAT platform provided efficient management of network traffic and subscriber sessions, optimization of IPv4 address use, and service quality control.

The DPI SCAT platform made it easier to manage the distribution of IP addresses, which allowed Cable Norte to connect more subscribers. In addition, the VAS Experts team has trained technical personnel to effectively set up and manage the system, as well as provide an easy-to-manage graphical interface.
