The Leta company completed a complex implementation project of a monitoring system and blocking of transfer of confidential information (DLP) in UPECO company.
Solution
New DLP- a system UPECO is intended for the solution of two main objectives: control of the major channels of possible information leak, ensuring collecting of incidents, their analysis. At the same time a DLP system performs monitoring of the transferred e-mails including ciphered and also controls input/output ports of workstations, shadow copying of the written information on replaceable devices, data transmission on the Internet under the standard HTTP, FTP and SMTP protocols.
Implementation
The project is executed based on the typified service Leta in protection against insiders and information leaks with the help DLP- solutions Symantec Data Loss Prevention.
At the first stage specialists of the company integrator conducted comprehensive examination of the information system UPECO, prepared the documents necessary for planning and carrying out implementation works.
Then the modules Symantec Data Loss Prevention according to the applied politicians and newly created politicians of cybersecurity (information security) then tests of a system began were set and configured.
At the end of the period of trial operation the DLP system of the customer is transferred to a planned operation mode.
Further implementation new the politician of cybersecurity and necessary organizational technical documentation will be engaged the relevant service of UPECO company.
