2024: Marketplace Launch
On December 24, 2024, the United Russia party, Promsvyazbank and the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CBST) announced the launch of the first military marketplace in the Russian Federation. At this site, military personnel will be able to purchase components that are necessary for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other products directly in the zone of special military operation (SVO).
According to the head of the Central Executive Committee of United Russia, Alexander Sidyakin, two-factor authentication is required to access the marketplace. Further, military personnel can add to the basket all the parts they need, for example, fastening and supporting elements, communication components, motors, etc. In the future, a drone can be assembled from these components to perform certain tasks.
We have made a "military marketplace," it is enough to simply log in. Today we are launching this system for the first time after tests, everything is already working. All information is impersonal, no military data is disclosed, and a third-party person will not be able to get access there. Of course, the financial infrastructure of the Ministry of Defense is built into this process, says Sidyakin. |
It is noted that Russian component manufacturers will be able to supply their products at the request of units of the Russian Army. United Russia and CBST are also implementing a project to retrofit technical and operational parts (TEC). This initiative will make it possible to carry out full-fledged repairs and modernization of new military developments in a short time. The center of "flexible" production of unmanned aircraft systems, equipment for two new workshops, tools for the production of printed circuit boards, soldering stations, etc. were delivered to the flagship TEC in the LPR. Specialists will be able to manufacture drones, electronic warfare and EER systems for specific combat missions on the spot.[1]
