Technoserv implemented the Cisco Unified Computing System platform for the Russian Railway

The Technoserv company, the Russian system integrator, announced completion of equipment installation of Unified Computing System (UCS) of Cisco Systems company for the benefit of JSC Russian Railways. This installation became one of the first implementations of this product in Russia, says Technoserv.

Specialists of Technoserv based on the Moscow DPC of the Russian Railway successfully held pilot testing of a task "The diagram of the performed movement" and also 5 more automated systems of the line level on the virtual servers of VMware placed on the computing UCS platform from Cisco connected to corporate networks of storage and data transmission of the customer. According to Technoserv, work on installation of the solution, including supply of equipment, took 12 calendar days.
