2024: Network Infrastructure Upgrades and Internet Connectivity
Rostelecom modernized the network infrastructure and connected the Internet to the Kizlyar Brandy Plant (KKZ). To this end, the technicians of the national provider built a kilometer-long fiber-optic communication line. Rostelecom announced this on January 9, 2025. The project was another step in the large-scale digital transformation led by the plant. The nearest joint plans of Rostelecom and KKZ include the modernization of the automatic process control system at the enterprise.
The large-scale plan for the modernization of the plant involves both the renewal of production facilities and the digitization of many technological processes. High-quality Internet access has already been organized, which is needed by the KKZ for reliable communication and exchange of information with partners and consumers. Modern technologists allow you to organize distributed corporate networks with the ability to remotely access them, as well as use secure resources, including databases and security systems, said Evgeny Druzhinin, General Director of Kizlyar Brandy Plant JSC.

Along with providing digital access to the network, Rostelecom experts have already analyzed the technological processes existing at the plant and proposed a concept for their modernization.
Based on the systematization and analysis of the design and survey works carried out at the plant, our specialists formed the concept of the future system for dispatching and monitoring of the APCS of the hardware workshop, as well as assessed the technical and functional capabilities for the project implementation. After agreement with the customer, the data transmission networks have already been modernized. The next stage in 2025 will be the supply of equipment and commissioning. And at the end of the project, Rostelecom specialists will consult and train plant employees, noted Ruslan Yarakhmedov, Director of the Dagestan branch of Rostelecom.
